A Dryfter Weekend - Embrace the Best of Vermont's Summer

As summer continues to fly by, it's essential we make the most of these warm days before the cold winter months set in. With that in mind, we have taken the liberty of planning your perfect Dryfter weekend.

Friday Afternoon: Upon arriving at your beautiful Dryfter property, take a moment to soak it all in, hit the golf simulator, enjoy a refreshing cocktail, and relax, knowing you have an exciting weekend ahead. As the afternoon turns to evening, put on those nice clothes you packed and drive just 5 minutes to the Red Clover Inn & Restaurant. This highly-rated restaurant will exceed expectations with its variety of dishes. From duck breast and red clover salad to venison and Vegetarian Ricotta Cavatelli, the menu offers an array of options. Alternatively, indulge in their 7-course chef's tasting menu with specially curated wine pairings. After your spectacular dinner, the night is yours – unwind in the hot tub, watch a movie, or get some well-deserved shut-eye.

Saturday: Your day full of activities begins at 10:30 am when you arrive at the Killington Mountain Country Club for your morning tee-time. Make sure to stop by Sun Up Bakery on the way for a delicious breakfast snack and coffee. Over the next 3-4 hours, enjoy the spectacular mountain views, well-curated fairways, and undulated greens that may leave you scratching your head, “and saying I swear that was breaking the other way!” After your golf round, assuming you've had your fill of playing, head over to Killington Deli and Marketplace for a sandwich, followed by a treat from Mad Hatters Scoops for a well-deserved ice cream cone. The rest of the afternoon is entirely up to you – adventure seekers can explore Killington Mountain Resort for a short hike or discover other well-maintained beautiful trails in the area. Alternatively, return to your home away from home and enjoy the many amenities your Dryfter house offers. As the day winds down, explore the variety of nearby dining options. For another fine dining experience, try the Birch Ridge Inn, or for a more casual setting, head to Jax for great pub food and a fun dining experience. If you're tired out from a long day and prefer the comfort of your wonderful Airbnb, feel free to use your newly renovated kitchen to cook whatever your heart desires.

Sunday: As your final day sadly arrives, make the most of it! Start with a late-morning brunch at Liquid Arts Coffee House and Eatery, where the food is great, and the coffee is even better. Next, head over to the Killington Bike Park, where you can bring, rent, or demo a bike and take advantage of the mountain's three high-speed lift services. This gives you access to a wide variety of well-maintained trail networks. Don't worry if you're not an advanced rider – just like the golf course, Killington Mountain caters to all levels of riders. And if mountain biking isn't your thing, enjoy a scenic gondola ride to the peak for beautiful 360-degree views of the Green Mountains.

Needless to say, staying at a Dryfter house allows visitors to explore the best of Vermont at their own pace. Our goal is to mix fun with comfort, maximizing your stay and creating unforgettable memories of your Vermont summer adventure!
